Selection Process
Tier I: Qualifying in nature
Candidates who have applied for the SSC CGL test will receive roll numbers and admit cards for the Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I).
The Tier-I exam serves as a qualifying round.
Your performance in the Tier-I exam determines who advances to Tiers II and III.
Tier II:
- Paper I is Compulsory for all posts.
- Applicants aiming for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) roles in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation must take Paper II.
- Paper III is relevant for candidates aspiring to be Assistant Audit Officer(AAO)/Assistant Accounts Officer.
- Paper II (JSO), Paper III (Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer), and Paper I (all other jobs) will have distinct cut-off scores.
- All candidates who pass Tier I will proceed to Tier II exams.
- All Tier-II candidates will need to take Papers I, II, and III. Only Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and AAO/Assistant Accounts Officer shortlisted candidates need to appear for Papers II and III.
