Good news for any recent graduates seeking a steady government position in one of the Ministries or Departments of the Indian government: SSC has announced a massive 17727 positions for Group “B” and Group “C” this year. Since there are twice as many openings as there were the previous year, you should apply online for the SSC CGL 2024 exam right away.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) administers the SSC CGL Exam annually, providing graduates with access to a variety of esteemed government positions that come with competitive pay and benefits. This exam, which is the most well-liked and difficult in India, enables all graduates to obtain government employment.

SSC CGL 2024 Notification Out

On June 24, 2024, the official SSC CGL 2024 notification pdf was made available at www.ssc.gov.in, announcing 17727 openings for Group B and C positions. SSC CGL 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The SSC CGL Exam is not open to everyone because the commission has established minimum eligibility requirements based on country, age, and educational background. According to the announcement from last year, the requirements for eligibility are as follows:

1. Education Qualification

A bachelor’s degree from any accredited university with a minimum of 60% in mathematics from class 12 or in any discipline with statistics as one of the required topics for graduation is required for the position of junior statistical officer (JSO).

For the position of Statistical Investigator Grade II, candidates must have a graduation degree from any accredited university with mathematics or economics as required or elective subjects.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institute and at least one year of research experience at any accredited university or accredited research institution are requirements for the position of research assistant at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university is required for the remaining positions.

2.  Age Limit

18 to 32 years old as of January 8, 2024. Candidates can review the table below to determine the age limit for each role.

SSC CGL 2024 Application Fee

When submitting their application online at www.ssc.gov.in, aspirants must pay Rs. 100. Slash the fees! Apply for SSC CGL 2024 by July 25th (11 PM). Women, SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates get a free application. Pay online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay).
