Registration and Application Process

Register for GMAC’s NMAT™: Select your selected programmes/institutions for score submission. GMAC will electronically deliver your scores to the programs you’ve chosen.

Complete the Business School Application: Visit the respective business school’s website and fill out the application form. The admissions team will match your application to your NMAT scores.

Important Points to Consider When Filling Out the NMAT Form

• The NMAT exam can be taken up to three times, but each attempt requires registration. Retake candidates are not required to reapply to NMIMS.
• NMIMS only evaluates the first NMAT score. Scores from retakes will not be used in the second selection stage.
• You can only take the NMAT at a test venue. [Until last year, students were allowed to take the NMAT from home.]

Part 1: Filling Out the NMAT Form for 2024

Keep these details handy when filling out the NMAT form.

• Photo, Photo ID, and Signature ID
• Academic and Work Experience Details
• Your full-time employment experience following graduation until July 1, 2024.
• Part-time, project, internship, articleship, or pre-graduation job experience should not be entered and will not be counted as work experience.

Steps to Fill up the NMAT 2024 Form

The NMAT by GMAC™ exam registration and school application process involves two steps.

1. Register for the NMAT by GMAC™ exam and select the programs/institutions to submit your scores. GMAC will electronically transmit the scores to the admissions team of the candidate’s chosen programmes/institutions.
2.  Visit the B-School Website and fill out the application form separately. The B-school admissions team will compare your application to the NMAT by GMAC™ scores provided by GMAC.

NMIMS accepts the candidate’s initial NMAT examination score.

Step 1: Create an account.

Click here to register with your information and establish an account.

You will receive a verification email at your registered email address. Please click on it to continue.

Step 2: Dashboard

After logging in, candidates can check their NMAT Dashboard. Click “Register Now” to begin filling out the Registration Form.

Step 3: Identification Information

• Candidates must provide their personal information, parents’ information, a photo, photo ID proof data, and disability status (if applicable).
• Your name and date of birth on the registration form must precisely match those on your Photo ID and Signature ID.
• The candidate must submit their name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address precisely, as these details cannot be modified once the registration is complete.
• Candidates must upload their scanned photograph at this stage.

Step 4: Contact Information

Enter your contact details & communication address.

Step 5: Education and Work Experience Information

Highest Education Details:

• Candidates must select their highest education qualification from the following two options:
• Completed/Appearing for graduation.
• Attained a master’s degree.
• Graduation/master’s degree scores can be expressed as percentages or CGPA. Choose the proper marking scheme from the options.
• If you are presently pursuing graduation, select Graduation Status as ‘Not Completed’ and enter only the year of passing. (In this scenario, candidates are not obliged to provide their percentage or CGPA).

Work Experience

• Enter your full-time job experience as of July 1, 2024.
• Only full-time experience after graduation will be accepted. Part-time, project, internship, articleship, and pre-graduation job experience should not be entered or counted as work experience.
• Choose your Industry and the appropriate Function within that Industry. For example, if you work in a logistics company’s accounting department, pick Industry as ‘Logistics’ and Function as ‘Accounting’.
• Candidates can select up to three industries.

Step 6: School Preference

• If you want to apply to NMIMS, you must specify NMIMS University as your preference. Please be aware that you must also visit the NMIMS website and complete the NMIMS application.
• Please select the schools in the order that you like.

Step 7: Additional Information

Enter other information, such as how you found about the NMAT through GMAC, your present background, any tests you have taken or want to take, and so on.

Step 8: Declaration

Read and confirm the Declaration.

Step 9: Payment Details

Review your payment information, submit the form, and make a payment. Click “Submit & Make Payment”.

Step 10: Book Exam Slot

• Check slot availability & book your slot.
• Select Test Mode.

NMAT Form Filling-Part 2: NMIMS Form

NMIMS: MBA 2024 Form Filling.

Candidates who have registered for the NMAT by GMAC™ can access the NMIMS online form.

Before registering for management programs and paying registration fees, the candidate must carefully read and comprehend the handout.

Rs.2800/- plus applicable taxes.

NMAT Form Filling- Important Note:

• Candidates must fill out only one application form for NMIMS, even if they are applying to numerous programs/Campuses.
• Candidates should register for NMIMS before taking the NMAT by GMAC™ exam. For example, if the NMAT by GMAC™ examination is set for October 9, 2024, the candidate must register by October 8, 2024.
• Candidates can register for the Main or Reapply exam.
• NMIMS will only accept candidates from the Main examination.
• Candidates who meet the cut-off based on their reapplication examination results will not advance to the second round of the selection process.

To fill out the NMAT form, follow these steps:

1. Login to the NMIMS portal

Click here to log in.

Log in with your NMAT by GMACTM ID and NMIMS password.

Go to Dashboard and click on “Registration Form” against “MBA Application Form – 2024”.

2. Personal Information

• Fill in personal information such as your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number.
• Fill in your NMAT registration number, blood group, and marital status.
• Fill up your religion, mother tongue, and ID proof data.
• Upload a photograph. (Size: 1MB; format: JPEG, JPG, PNG)

3. Academic Background and Programme Category

Select the Academic Background/Graduation Degree Name. (Detailed academic information must be added later in Step 5).

Note: Mathematics/statistics is a required topic in the Business Analytics program, with a graduation grade point average of 50%.

Mathematics should be a graduation requirement for the Digital Transformation programme, with a minimum aggregate percentage of 50%.

4.Programme Preference

• Select five programme preferences.

 5. Identity Information, Parental Details, and Address for Communication

• Fill up your Gender, Category, and Contact Number.
• Fill in the parent’s information.
• Fill in your Communication & Permanent Address

6. Graduation Details

• Fill out your Undergrad details.
• If you graduated, please include your graduation percentage.
• If your mark sheet shows a CGPA, convert it to a percentage according to your university’s rules.
• If the conversion rule is not specified on your mark sheet, apply the general rule to convert CGPA to percentage. (CGPA * 100 / Total CGPA)
• If actively appearing for graduation or awaiting results, mention Graduation Status as “Appeared” (In this scenario, candidates are not obliged to fill out their percentage or CGPA)

 7. Work Experience Information

• Mention your work experience (Name of the Organization, Years of Experience, Months of Experience).
• Mention your industry and the relevant function within that industry. For e.g., If you work in the Accounts Department of a Logistics Company, select Industry as ‘Logistics’ & Function as ‘Accounting’.

8. Payment Details

Review your payment details; submit the form when making the payment.
