Every year, the Staff Selection Commission administers the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam at the federal level of government to choose Higher Secondary qualified candidates for various Indian government departments and offices. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts annual recruitment to fill thousands of positions in government departments. Lakhs of candidates apply for these positions each year. However, due to technological difficulties, the SSC has postponed the publication of the SSC CHSL Notification 2024.

Posts include Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator are included in the SSC CHSL (10+2) test. Candidates for Assistant/Clerk positions will be chosen and recommended by SSC based on their performance on a computer-based test, descriptive paper, skill test, or typing test. There are two levels to the SSC CHSL exam, referred to as Tiers. Through the official SSC CHSL website, the registration and communication processes are completed entirely online. Before being chosen, candidates must pass each level of the SSC CHSL exam in order to move on to the next.

SSC CHSL 2024 Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The SSC CHSL selection process consists of three tiers:

• Tier-1: Computer Based Test (CBT) with objective type questions.

• General Intelligence & Reasoning
• Quantitative Aptitude,
• English Language
• General Awareness.

Duration: 60 minutes

Marks: 100

• Tier-2: Descriptive Paper (offline mode) testing writing skills in English or Hindi. (100 marks)
• Tier-3: Skill Test (for specific posts like Data Entry Operator)

APPLICATION FEES FOR SSC CHSL 2024 EXAM

• The General Category application cost for SSC CHSL 2024 is Rs 100.
• Exemption: The following categories of candidates are exempt from paying the fee: females, SC, ST, physically handicapped individuals, and ex-servicemen.

SSC CHSL 2024 ELIGIBILITY

Educational Qualification:

• You must have passed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

• The government grants age relaxation to ex-servicemen according to their guidelines.

SSC CHSL 2024 Admit Card

Upon successful registration within the designated timeframe, all SSC CHSL Exam 2024 applicants will receive an e-admit card (also known as a hall pass or call letter) downloadable from the official website. The SSC will release the admit card for the Tier-1 exam first. While, candidates who qualify for Tier-1 will be eligible to download the admit card for the CHSL Tier-2 exam.
