SNAP vs NMAT: The MBA program is unquestionably one of the most coveted and renowned programs. As aspiring MBA candidates begin their preparation path each year, they confront the critical challenge of shortlisting the entrance examinations that will lead them to their desired B-Schools.

Two such important tests are the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) and the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT), also called as NMAT by GMAC. This extensive comparison and analysis will assist you in deciding between SNAP and NMAT, allowing you to select the exam that best fits your goals.

SNAP vs. NMAT: Competition Level and Scope
NMAT has a greater degree of competition because it covers some of India’s best B-Schools, like SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, ICFAI Business School (IBS), Xavier’s University, ITM Business School, and others. SNAP, on the other hand, is confined to SIU and a few other colleges but contains many top-tier business schools such as SIBM, SIOM, SIIB, and SCMHRD.
SNAP vs. NMAT: Cutoffs for Top Colleges
The NMAT features both sectional and overall cut offs, with the most recent exam pattern predicting an overall cut off of 169 to 208 (out of 360). In contrast, SNAP does not have a sectional cutoff, and final scores are scaled to 50. For the NMAT, an effort of 80 accurate questions within 120 minutes is regarded good, whereas the SNAP requires approximately 85-90 questions with 80-85% accuracy for an optimum try.
