English language proficiency, numerical aptitude, and reasoning ability are all equally weighted in the preliminary exam. This phase mainly assesses the applicant’s aptitude and fundamental problem-solving abilities. Those who pass the preliminary exam advance to the main exam, which consists of five components, including computer knowledge and general awareness. Every step has a time restriction, and incorrect responses result in a deduction in score. Achieving a high score requires frequent practice and mastery of the whole material.

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern

The English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude are the three main components of the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam. While the Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability parts each include 35 questions and a maximum of 35 marks each, the English Language section consists of 30 questions with 30 marks each. RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern

English Language, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability are the five components that make up the RBI Assistant Mains Exam. 40 questions make up each section, and each question is worth one mark, for a total of 40 points. The parts on English language proficiency, reasoning ability, and numerical ability each have 30 minutes allotted to them. Candidates are allotted twenty minutes for the Computer Knowledge section and twenty minutes for the General Awareness section. RBI Assistant LPT (Language Proficiency Test)

Following the Mains exam, candidates who make the preliminary shortlist are required to take the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The candidate’s selected state’s official or local language is used for this test. The LPT’s objective is to evaluate a candidate’s proficiency in the selected local language in terms of reading, writing, and speaking.
