IPMAT 2025 Selection Process [Step By Step]

IIM Indore Selection Process 2025

Stage I: Online Registration

(i) Interested candidates who meet the minimal requirements should apply online using the steps outlined in the application process.

(ii) When submitting an application, there will be a non-refundable registration fee.

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) The IPM Aptitude Test (AT), administered by IIM Indore, will be taken by qualified candidates. It will assess the candidates’ proficiency in verbal ability (multiple choice questions), quantitative ability (short answer questions), and quantitative ability (multiple choice questions).

(ii) IPM AT Indore is tentatively scheduled for May 2025.

Stage III: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

(i) The Admissions Committee selects candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) pool if they receive a minimum score in each aptitude test component and achieve positive raw scores. The Admissions Committee determines the cut-off scores for each component, and these scores differ for various candidate categories.

(ii) As indicated by the Institute, shortlisted candidates will get an invitation to an offline Personal Interview

Stage IV: Offline Personal Interview (PI)

(i) The shortlisted candidates will take part in an offline personal interview where evaluators will assess their academic standing, general awareness, and communication abilities.

(ii) The second week of June 2025 is the provisional date for the personal interviews.

Stage V: Final Selection and Merit List

i. The admissions committee will use the composite score of the Personal Interview (PI) and Aptitude Test (ATS) to create the final Merit List.

ii. The following formula will determine the Composite Score (CS):

• Score on the Aptitude Test (ATS): 65%
• 35% of interviews are personal (PI).
• The total of the ATS and PI scores is the Composite Score (CS).
