SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2025, 08 March

We provide the SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2025 for all four shifts held on March 8 in the following part. The exam review will be very helpful to candidates who have their preliminary exam on March 16 and 24.

Sections Difficulty Level Good Attempts
English Language Moderate 24-27
Quantitative Aptitude Moderate 09-14
Reasoning Ability Moderate 22-25
Overall Moderate 57-66

First Shift: Moderate Level

  1. There were some surprises with the updated SBI PO Exam Pattern 2025! With 40 questions covering 8 themes, the English Language segment was the most heavily weighted portion of the test. The section was simpler for candidates who were proficient readers.
  2. Only two problems in Quantitative Aptitude were from the Wrong Number Series, with the majority of the focus shifting to Arithmetic and Data Interpretation. This modification gave the article a feeling of length, calculation, and time commitment.
  3. Puzzles and seating arrangements accounted for 25 out of 30 questions in the Reasoning Ability section! The five questions that remained were from various categories.

Second Shift: Moderate Level

  1. The English Language portion of the SBI PO Prelims Exam included nine topics in the second shift, compared to eight in the first. This portion, which included questions on vocabulary, fillers, and true/false assertions, was dominated by reading comprehension.
  2. Comparing the Quantitative Aptitude part to the first shift, it was a little simpler. There were five questions about approximation, while the remaining questions were about arithmetic and data interpretation (DI).
  3. Candidates faced problems about puzzles, seating arrangements, inequality, pair formation, and meaningful words in the Reasoning Ability section. Those who were adept at solving puzzles and organizing seating had a distinct edge in terms of high scores.

Third Shift: Moderate Level

  1. With a Reading Comprehension chapter about a toy factory, the English Language portion was quite easy to handle. Candidates had to distinguish between correct and improper sentences in the Error Detection section.
  2. Along with arithmetic problems, the Quantitative Aptitude part included a significant number of Data Interpretation (DI) questions based on Line + Tabular, Caselet, and Pie Chart. This phase was lengthy and calculative for many candidates.
  3. The Reasoning Ability component followed a similar format, consisting of 25 questions about puzzles and seating arrangements and 5 questions about other subjects.

Fourth Shift: Moderate Level

  1. Similar to the previous three shifts, eight well-known subjects were used as the basis for the questions in the English Language exam.
  2. There were two seating arrangement problems and three puzzles in the Reasoning Ability section. Effective time management and question selection were crucial.
  3. Three of the problems in the Quantitative Aptitude portion dealt with quadratic equations, with the other questions concentrating on arithmetic and data interpretation (DI)
