What is the SNAP Exam?
SNAP, or Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, is an MBA entrance exam administered by Symbiosis International Deemed University.
The SNAP exam 2024 will be administered by computer on three different dates. Candidates can take the SNAP exam three times.
Every year, about 1 lakh MBA candidates take the SNAP exam for admission to 17 SIU-affiliated universities.
There are 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to answer in 60 minutes. There is no sectional time for the SNAP exam.

SNAP Exam Registration Fees for 2024
What will be the SNAP exam application fees? The final date to pay SNAP registration costs has yet to be notified.
The institute’s SNAP test and SNAP registration fees are not the same.
The SNAP exam registration fee for 2024 is INR 2,250/- relevant taxes, whereas the SNAP program fee is INR 1000/-. You may utilize the following payment methods:

Eligibility Criteria for the SNAP Exam 2024
If you intend to take the SNAP entrance exam in 2024, you must meet the following qualifying criteria:
- A graduation degree from a recognized university is required, along with a minimum percentage.
- 55% (general/obc candidates)
- 45% for SC/ST.
- If you are in your final year of college, you are eligible to apply for the SNAP exam 2024.
- If you completed your studies at a foreign university and received certification from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), you are also eligible for SNAP 2024.

The SNAP admission exam is divided into three sections: general English, analytical and logical reasoning, and quantitative ability.

SNAP Marking Scheme 2024
The SNAP exam 2024 will be taken on three separate dates, and candidates are allowed to take all three attempts.
If an applicant takes more than one SNAP exam, the better score will be considered for review.
There will be no normalization process for the SNAP exam.
Here are the full details on the SNAP exam marking scheme:
- The SNAP exam is an objective test with four options.
- Correct Answer: Each correct answer earns one point.
- Negative marking: Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of -0.25 marks.
- Unanswered Questions: There will be no deductions for skipped questions.
How to Register for the SNAP Exam 2024?
If you are an MBA aspirant and want to apply for the SNAP exam 2024, please follow these steps:
- Go to the official SNAP registration portal at www.snaptest.org.
- Select the ‘New User’ tab.
- Read the terms and conditions carefully before clicking the ‘I agree’ button to proceed.
- Login again and complete the SNAP exam form.
- Pay your registration cost.
- Complete Part II of the SNAP Test Entrance Exam form, including information on the institutes that interest you.
- After you’ve paid for the SNAP application form 2024, the Symbiosis Test Secretariat will examine and validate the payment information.
- Following the approval process, a confirmation email indicating payment receipt will be sent to the email address you supplied.
- Your SNAP Admit Card will only be available after the payment has been validated.
NOTE: Once a candidate has paid the SNAP Test Entrance exam registration cost, they are unable to modify their test date or venue. The test city and date will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Pay as soon as possible to enhance your chances of getting your desired test day and location. The address and location of the test center will be indicated on the admit card.
International Students’ Eligibility For the SNAP Entrance Exam 2024
A thorough method for applying to Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is available at www.scie.ac.in, and applicants can use a user-friendly online application. Students can apply under one of four categories:
- Foreign Nationals (FN)
- Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Non-resident Indians (NRIs).
Foreign nationals, OCI, and PIO students must take an English proficiency test. You can pick between IELTS and IELA. To meet the requirements, an IELTS score of 6 is required, as is an IELA score of band 4. NRI students must have taken one of the two qualifying exams outside of India.

- Admission to the program is contingent on meeting the precise qualifying requirements.
- It is the student’s obligation to ensure they meet the requirements for admission.
- Application and payment of the fee do not ensure acceptance of eligibility.
- Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will evaluate final admission eligibility once all required documentation has been received.
Selection Process Following the SNAP Entrance Exam 2024
A candidate’s overall SNAP exam percentile will determine whether or not they are shortlisted for the GE-PI procedure.
- The GE-PI process is carried out separately for each MBA program, and the cut-off for shortlisting is established independently.
- Candidates may be shortlisted for several programs based on their SNAP test entrance exam percentile.
- If this happens, the candidate must go through the GE-PI process for each program separately.
Note: Candidates must complete all components/tests of the GE-PI procedure in order to be considered for admission to any PG program or any MBA program selection at SIU.
SNAP Entrance Exam Merit List Declaration
The Merit List and Wait List cut-offs for each category will be announced on the relevant Institutes’ websites.
- The Wait List moves according to the availability of vacant slots.
- It is crucial to note that the candidate is offered a provisional seat until the fees are paid by the due date.
- This is subject to meeting the qualifying criteria for the individual programme(s) and adhering to the SIU’s rules.

Candidates are notified that no donation or capitation fee is required for admission to any program provided by any SNAP entrance exam colleges. They should be wary of any individual or outside entity that offers them entrance in exchange for such fees.
