NMAT 2024 Marking Scheme: Significant Modifications to the Test Design

There have been several major adjustments made to the NMAT exam format. There are now 36 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in each of the three exam parts, out of the 120 total questions that were previously there.

In addition, the allotted time for the Logical Reasoning and Language Skills sections has been increased from 38 to 40 minutes and 22 to 28 minutes, respectively. Conversely, the Quantitative Skills part now only contains 52 minutes instead of 60 minutes.

NMAT 2024 Marking Scheme

Every year, GMAC creates the syllabus and marking system for the NMAT Exam. There are three sections and 108 questions in the syllabus.

The NMAT is an online computer-based exam that you can pass. A series of multiple-choice and objective questions are used to test it in English.

There is no penalty for giving the incorrect response on the exam, nor are there any marks deducted for questions left unanswered. A right response carries three points.

You have 120 minutes to complete the exam; you can select the sections in any order. You need to prepare for a number of topics and subtopics that are included in each NMAT section.

Section Syllabus for Quantitative Skills in the NMAT Marking Scheme 2024

One of the most important sections of the NMAT exam syllabus is the quantitative skills component. This portion uses a collection of 36 questions that you must answer in 52 minutes to assess your mathematical, numerical, data interpretation, and data sufficiency skills.

In this area, the NMAT marking scheme can have a range of 12 to 120. The five themes that make up the NMAT exam pattern’s Quantitative Skills part each have multiple subtopics that you need to study for.

NMAT Scoring System: Logic Reasoning

The logical reasoning portion of the NMAT exam evaluates analytical and critical thinking abilities. To show that you are capable of making decisions, you must evaluate arguments and draw conclusions.

There are 36 questions in this section, and you have 40 minutes to answer them. This section’s NMAT exam marking scheme spans from 12 to 120.

NMAT Marking Scheme 2024: Syllabus for Language Skills Section

The Language Skills component of the NMAT syllabus focuses on measuring your verbal and English language skills and reading comprehension. The vocabulary and grammatical ideas covered in this part are the main topics.

This phase consists of 36 questions that you have 38 minutes to answer. The Language Skills component of the NMAT exam is scored between 12 and 120. The NMAT syllabus’s Language Skills subject is broken up into three pieces.
