Eligibility Criteria: Are You Eligible?

Before applying, candidates must carefully review the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Failing to meet any of these requirements will lead to disqualification.

1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Basic computer knowledge is desirable. The essential qualification must be obtained on or before the closing date of the application (August 10, 2025).
3. Age Limit (as on August 10, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years

Age Relaxation is provided for various categories as per Government rules:

• OBC: 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• Departmental candidates (with at least 3 years of regular & continuous service): Up to 40 years
• Widows, Divorced Women, and Women Judicially Separated (not remarried):
  • UR: Up to 35 years
  • OBC: Up to 38 years
  • SC/ST: Up to 40 years
• Meritorious Sportspersons: Up to 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Central Government instructions.

• Special Security Allowance (SSA): 20% of basic pay
• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Transport Allowance (TA)
• Cash Compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays: Subject to a ceiling of 30 days.

The approximate in-hand salary for an IB ACIO Executive typically ranges from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month, varying based on the city of posting (X, Y, or Z category cities).
