SBI PO Prelims 2025 Exam Analysis: August 4th

The SBI PO Prelims exam for August 4, 2025, has been successfully conducted in four shifts. English Language: The English section was generally reported as being on the easier side, with some shifts being slightly more challenging. The questions were primarily from Reading Comprehension, Error Detection, Para Jumbles, and Cloze Tests. Most candidates found this section to be scoreable with a good command of grammar and vocabulary.

Quantitative Aptitude: This section was consistently rated as Moderate across all shifts. A significant portion of the questions came from Data Interpretation (DI) sets, including Bar + Table, Caselet, and Pie Charts. Arithmetic questions were also present, requiring a good understanding of various topics like Profit & Loss and Time, Speed & Distance. The section was considered calculative and time-consuming.

Reasoning Ability: The Reasoning section was considered Easy to Moderate. The majority of the questions were based on Puzzles and Seating Arrangements. While this section was scoring for well-prepared candidates, some puzzles were slightly time-consuming. Other topics included Syllogism, Inequality, and miscellaneous questions
