MAH CET vs CAT: Duration of Exam
MAH CET exams last 150 minutes, with no breaks in between. Furthermore, there is no time limit to tackle any segment.
However, for the CAT, the time limit is 120 minutes, with a sectional time limit. Each component is allocated 40 minutes, and students must pass the exam within that time.

Exam fees differ between the MAH CET and CAT exams. MAH CET is comparatively lower than CAT.

MAH CET versus CAT: The Counselling Process
The therapeutic procedure is somewhat aloof. CAT counselling is held at the national level for applicants who have received ranking marks. The IIMs use Written Ability Tests (WAT) and Personal Interviews (PI) to select students for MBA admission to their participating universities.
In contrast, MAH CET counseling is held for admissions to MBA programs offered by Maharashtra’s institutions and colleges.
Difficulty of MAH CET vs CAT
CAT is considered more demanding than MAH CET. Because the CAT exam is administered on a national scale, entrance competitiveness is greater than that of the MAH CET. CAT has a high cutoff, making it difficult to pass the exam. Every year, over 2 lakh applicants take the CAT exam.
In contrast, approximately 75,000 to 1 lakh candidates take the MAH CET, which is conducted at the state level. As a result, the cutoff is lower than the CAT, making it easier to crack.
