Tata
Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai conducts TISS National Entrance Test
(TISSNET). It is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to MA
programmes in the School of Management and Labour Studies. The MA programmes
offered at TISS campuses are at par with the management programmes offered by
top MBA colleges in India.
TISSNET 2023
Exam will tentatively be conducted in the first week of March, 2023. TISSNET
2023 Registration will commence in the second week of December, 2022 with the
release of the official notification.

The academic
qualification of the candidate must be a graduate or bachelor's degree from a
recognized university/ board.
The
candidates who are in the final year of Graduation can also apply for the
TISSNET.
The
candidates who apply for the TISSNET must have passed all four semesters at the
time of applying for the registration form.
There is no
certain age limit for applying for the entrance examination of the TISSNET but
the minimum age must be 21 for applying in the TISSNET.

TISS will
release the cut-off of the TISSNET Entrance Examination after its conduction of
the examination. The qualifying cut off in TISSNET usually ranges between 65-75. Check below the table indicating the

The
candidates clearing the required cutoff are qualified for the online assessment.
They will have to give a speech on an extempore topic and a personal interview
will be conducted by the conducting authority. The
candidates will have to appear before the Board members of the TISS for the
personal interview to assess the candidate's overall knowledge and personality.
The board members also judged the candidate on all the factors such as social
understanding, economic understanding.
