What is IBPS RRB PO?

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts all IBPS Exams including IBPS RRB PO or IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Exam to hire candidates at Officer Post for various Regional Rural Banks of the country. The IBPS RRB PO recruitment is done by the Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection to select candidates for the Officer Scale I posts.

IBPS RRB 2022 Registration Process begins on 07.06.2022 to 27.06.2022

The candidates can fill the form online only on the official website of IBPS.

IBPS RRB Application Form 2022 fees for General/OBC/EWS categories is Rs. 850 and for ST/SC/PWD categories is Rs. 175

Exam Dates & Notification

IBPS RRB PO Prelims & Mains Exam Result will be announced online.

The admit card for the mains exam will be released online for candidates who will qualify the prelims exam.

The admit card for the interview will be released online for candidates who will qualify the mains exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee.

Candidate must be above 18 years & below 30 years.

Educational Qualification - Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Also, Candidates having a degree in Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy will be given preference.

Candidate must have proficiency in Computer Knowledge & Local Language.

IBPS RRB PO 2022 Selection Process

There are 3 stages of IBPS RRB PO Selection

-Preliminary Exam

-Mains Exam

-Interview Round

IBPS RRB PO Mains

A candidate can choose Hindi Language or English Language for the tests as per the candidate’s preference as all exams are bilingual.

There is a negative marking for wrong answers in both Preliminary & Mains exams of IBPS RRB. 1/4th of the total marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Interview Round

Interview will be of 100 marks.

Candidates who qualify mains examination cutoff are shortlisted for interview round. Overall knowledge of candidate regarding banking & financing is also checked.

Final list of candidates is made on the basis of candidate’s main exam & interview round score.

Vacancies & Salary

IBPS released a total of 2676 vacancies for this year for RRB PO 2022. Officer Scale I monthly income will fall between Rs. 29,000 - Rs. 33,000 (subject to change).
