What is TISSNET Exam?
Tata
Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai conducts TISS National Entrance Test
(TISSNET). It is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to MA programmes
in the School of Management and Labour Studies. The MA programmes offered at
TISS campuses are at par with the management programmes offered by top MBA
colleges in India.
TISSNET
2023 Exam will tentatively be conducted in the first week of March, 2023.
TISSNET 2023 Registration will commence in the second week of December, 2022
with the release of the official notification
TISSNET 2023 registrations
have commenced on December 14, 2022. Candidates can check dates of exam,

TISSNET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are expected to fulfil
the following criteria for appearing in TISSNET 2023
Candidates
should be a graduate or have an equivalent degree from a recognised
university
Candidates
who complete their final year degree by Monday, June 8, 2023, will also be able
to apply.
The
final year students must have passed in all subjects of the first two years
(four semesters) of their bachelor's degree at the time of filling the TISSNET
application form.
Candidates
pursuing a four-year bachelor's degree must have passed in all subjects up to
the sixth semester.
There
is no age bar for
appearing in TISSNET 2023. At least two years of work experience is required
for candidates applying for a Master of Arts in (Organisation Development,
Change and Leadership

Form is
available online. The application process will end on January 15, 2023.

TISSNET 2023 in online mode.
How to Apply Online for TISSNET 2023?
Candidates
can apply for TISSNET 2023 in online mode by following the steps mentioned
below:
Go
to the official website of TISS
Fill
the online application form with the required details including name, email id,
phone number, date of birth, etc.
On
successful registration, you will be provided with an application
number/ID
Login
again with the registered ID to fill in the application form with personal
details, educational qualification details, family income details and
caste/category details
Check
all the details before submitting the TISSNET 2023 registration form
Upload
required documents including scanned copies of photograph and signature as
per the specifications
The
next step is to pay the application fee for TISSNET as mentioned for each
category in any of the two modes (online mode or offline mode)
Preview
your application form before the final submission and also get a printout of
the submitted application and fee receipt

TISSNET Exam Pattern 2023 refers
to the structure of the question paper, type of questions, marking scheme and other
relevant details about the exam. Candidates who have applied for a single
programme or multiple programmes will have to attempt a single question paper
with 100 questions. The exam duration will be of 100 minutes. There will be no
negative marking for incorrect answers.

TISSNET
2023 will be conducted in 40 cities across India. The locations where TISSNET 2023
centres are

TISSNET Counselling
The
selection process at TISS happens through three stages:

3: Online Personal Interview (OPI)
TISSMAT
Candidates
who qualify TISSNET exam are called for Online Assessments (OA). OA consists of
two stages- Extempore and personal interview. Earlier due to the COVID-19
pandemic TISSMAT was scrapped from the admission process. Instead, shortlisted
candidates will have to appear for the OA.
Final Merit list
After
the three exhaustive rounds, TISS releases the final merit list of candidates
who have made it through. In May, the list will be made available at the TISS’s
official website. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the
performance in TISSNET (50 per cent), Extempore (20 per cent), Personal
Interview (30 per cent)
