MAH MBA CET Counselling Process 2022

The MAH CET Cell which is the test conducting body of Government of Maharashtra, has announced the revised dates for MAH CET exam 2022 which will be conducted on August 23, 24 and 25, 2022 in multiple sessions.

The schedule of MAH CET 2022 counselling will be announced after the declaration of entrance exam result. The process, officially called Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is conducted for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by about 300 colleges and institutes in Maharashtra.

Through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) round, the admission and seat allotment process for MAH CET MBA 2022 will be conducted. Applicants will have to submit the online registration form at the designated centres within the stipulated date and time. Candidates will have to fill their institute's choice and course in decreasing order. Check the following factors (as per last year's trend) that will be taken into consideration for MAH CET MBA CAP rounds.

 ·       Direct seat allotment for home and state-level universities will come under CAP.

 ·       Stage I & II will be used for CAP round one. There will be a total of seven stages in this CAP round.

 ·       MAH CET MBA 2022 Counselling Round III - This round is only for those applicants who belong to Maharashtra state and must have their name in the merit list of Maharashtra state.

What is MAH MBA/MMS CET 2022 CAP?

MAH MBA/MMS CET 2022 Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is the state level counselling process conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by state institutes. CAP round is also referred to as counselling and is held for admission to various institutions which includes PUMBA, SIMSREE, JBIMS, etc. MAH MBA CET CAP is conducted online on the official website. Candidates who shall clear MAH CET 2022 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

·       Under this process, candidates who clear the MAH CET exam, have to register online for CAP at the State CET website

·       Candidates have to fill the CAP form mentioning their academic details, MAH CET score and preferred course/colleges.

·       CAP cut-offs and merit lists are released in two rounds.

MAH MBA/MMS CET 2022 CAP Registration Process

Candidates can register for MAH MBA CET Counselling Process 2022 in two ways that are listed below:

 ·       Candidates who will appear for MAH CET 2022 will be able to directly log in by using their login credentials.

 ·       Candidates who have not appeared for MAH CET 2022, but have a valid scorecard of CAT, ATMA or XAT are also eligible to register for MAH CET counselling 2022.

Steps to register for MAH MBA/MMS CET 2022 CAP:

STEP 1: Open the official website of MAH MBA/MMS CET 2022

STEP 2: Click on New User and enter your name, country, state, email ID, phone number and a password

STEP 3: Click on 'Register' to create a login. A unique ID (application ID) will be generated and sent in email

STEP 4: Use this unique ID to login on the website and authenticate registration.

MAH CET counselling includes online registration, filling the application form, verifying documents, application confirmation, release of provisional merit list, the release of final merit list and confirmation of admission.

Stage 1: Candidate registration

The registration process of MAH MBA CET Counselling 2022 is online. Given below are the steps of MAH CET 2022 Counselling:

Step 1: The candidates will be required to register as a new user on the official website and create a login on the official website

Step 2: Candidates will have to upload documents and fill up the online CAP form available on the official website using the same login credentials

Step 3: Upload scanned copies of required documents (passport size photo and signature in recommended dimension) along with the application form

Step 4: Take the printout of the duly filled application form and send it by speed/registered post or visit the Facilitation Centre for verification of documents and confirmation of application submission

Step 5: Once the application form is verified by the competent authority, the candidates will receive a fee acknowledgement slip

Stage 2: Announcement of provisional merit list

After the process of application form submission, the provisional merit list of selected candidates will be announced. Candidates can submit their grievances (if any) along with required documents at the same Facilitation Centre where they had gotten their application form verified. After this process, the final merit list will be declared.

Stage 3: Announcement of final merit list

The final merit list will be released online on the official website, indicating seats available for CAP rounds. All CAP rounds (I, II and III) will be conducted online and the seats will be allotted through a computerized process. Candidates who will be allotted seats in a particular CAP round will be required to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for verification of documents and confirmation of admission. Following confirmation of admission at the ARC, the candidates will be required to visit the allotted college to complete the admission process.
